We have a base of 22" of snow.  We put tracks for classic skiing on all trails around Pahaska and Middle Fork.  Temperatures were around 18 degrees today.  Please keep in mind, we got a lot of snow in a short amount a time.  So except soft conditions in some place.

Wolves were howling around the top of Jackson Hill in Race Park and travelling on the ski trails.

We received another 12" of new snow in the past 2 days.  We again had to roll everything around Pahaska, to the Gate, and Middle Fork.  We were also able to roll down to Sleeping Giant and beyond.

We got up there at 6:00AM and notice 3-4" of new snow.  We took out the Ginzu's.  Everything around Pahaska, up to the East Gate Entrance, and Middle Fork have been tracked for Classic skiing and packed for skate skiing.

FYI: If planning to explore the Yellowstone East Gate Entrance.  New this year-showing your National Park Pass or purchasing a $20.00 walk-in fee.

Merry Christmas from our families to yours.

We received another 6" of new snow overnight.  Bringing our base up to approximately 15".  We rolled again what we did yesterday.  No tracks yet.  Planning on trying to put in tracks early tomorrow morning if the snow slows down. Except soft conditions as we got a lot of snow came fast and it just hasn't had time to settle.

It happened! 9" of new snow.  We rolled and TidTec'd all the trails surrounding Pahaska twice.  Removed a fallen tree on Middle Fork.  Shoveled snow ramps to prepare an approaches for the Bridge.

It was still snowing heavy as we hurried home to celebrate with our families.  Again, roads are slippery.

4" of new snow and still snowing!  Looks like we have enough to try to roll some of the trails tomorrow.  If adventuring out and up the North Fork.  Drive with caution, if it freezes the rain and snow will make the roads slick.

0.5" of new snow.  Still waiting for enough to start packing the rest of the trails.  However, again the road is groomed for skate and classic on both sides of the road.  Temperature high was 20 degrees.

We received 2" inches of new snow.  Temperatures are cooling. Especially after two more days in the 40's.  We were able to put in a classic track.  Again, keep in mind thin in spots and poles are punching through to the road's surface.

We received an 1 inch new snow on the road.  We continued to pack the road.  By the time, the groomers finished temperatures reached 41 degrees.

We once again rolled up the road.  Be aware that when skiing on the road there are thin spots and poling through to the road's surface.  Keep the snow dance coming.
