A non-profit association for Nordic ski & snowshoe enthusiasts in Park County, Wyoming. |
The Park County Nordic Ski Association (PCNSA) was formed as 501c3 organization in 1994 by local enthusiasts to promote cross-country skiing sports and to provide consistent grooming for 19 kilometers (11.8 miles) of ski trails around the Pahaska Teepee area, just before the East Entrance to Yellowstone National Park. Members of our association work together to maintain the ski trails, provide seasonal workshops, support other organization's use of the trails, and lead fundraising events.
We encourage positive trail etiquette for skiers as well as snowshoers who can explore our single-tracked trails. The PCNSA is proud of our unique position as community-focused organization: our doors are open to anyone who wants to ski/snowshoe and we love the diversity. Members gain access to our spacious warming hut at the trail head, as well as other great benefits.
Dogs are permitted only on the East Gate Road and the Back Country Trail. All trails are on public land in the Shoshone National Forest. Please visit our trail map page for more detailed location information.
Funding to maintain our grooming equipment and trails are obtained from annual memberships and generous donations. The PCNSA is an all volunteer nonprofit organization and we appreciate your support!
