A non-profit association for Nordic ski & snowshoe enthusiasts in Park County, Wyoming. |
The PCNSA is an all volunteer membership organization which means that all funds we receive go directly toward our mission. We maintain the Pahaska Ski Trails which are part of the Shoshone National Forest on public land, not property of the Pahaska Teepee Resort. To do that, we organize trail maintenance days with our volunteers and have others on schedule throughout the season to ensure the trails are groomed regularly.
We have several large pieces of trail grooming equipment that we pay for and maintain as well. Trail grooming and maintenance is our main fundraising need.
The biggest perk for all PCNSA members is access to our very cozy warming hut located at the trail head. The hut includes a large space for a group to get warm around a wood burning stove, a microwave to heat up a post-ski snack, and landline phone for emergencies. We provide wood for the hut all season long and your access code ensures only PCNSA members can enter.
