The January doldrums are here, with not a lot of storm activity in the last 10 days. Pahaska picked up a couple inches of snow since last weekend and the groomers chose to preserve it by waiting until today to reset trails. Despite not a lot of new snow, the trails are in great shape and everything is skiing really nicely!
Trails Groomed:
Middle Fork, Race Park, Becker Trail, Outlaw Bench, Moose Flats, Crow Creek Loop, Barn Road, Penny's Passage, the Haul Road to Sleeping Giant, SG East trails, The Highway to the YNP East Entrance and the Dog Trail across the river. As of today, YNP had not set track in the park, but the skiing was pretty nice on the snowmobile side going up Sylvan Pass.
You may see some prep work has taken place and new cutoffs that have been groomed that for the Taste of the Trails event next week. Feel free to ski those connectors if you'd like.
see you on the trails!
